4.4km run

Today I got a run in, which is better than nothing.
I woke up this morning, sore already from Angie's pummeling. The blisters/calluses on my hands are no better today, in fact a couple of them are wide open now. It's fair to say, I had no desire to PR my Fran time today, so a run it was.
I'm just now looking into the Fight Gone Bad 5 event that's going to be held on September 25th across the country. Thinking about registering for it.

Side notes:
I am not a restrictive eater. I know very little about the details of diets like Paleo and Zone, but I have become more conscious of what I eat, drink and snack on within the last month. I've found a common denominator with elite athletes; they're all conscious of what they're putting in themselves so the output can be consistent.
I started taking a fish oil supplement. The benefits can be explained better here. I'm taking Syntha-6 (a BSN product) for protein. My challenge with these both is taking them regularly. I take this Syntha-6 because I had it, and don't want to waste it. When I run out of this, I plan to switch to Progenex which is what the elites use for protein and recovery.
